Spicy Mango Lemonade

Sweet mango, bright lemon, a slow chili burn. Bold and unforgettable.

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and cubed
  • 5 lemons
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Tajín or chili powder
  • 5 cups cold water
  • Ice
  • Lime wedge + chili rim

Steps

  1. 1

    Blend mangoes with 1 cup water until silky.

    Stir in lemon juice and sugar until dissolved.

  3. 3

    Add remaining water and a pinch of chili powder.

  4. 4

    Rim glasses with lime juice and chili powder.

  5. 5

    Fill with ice and pour.

Leo's tips

  • Ataulfo (honey) mangoes are sweetest.
  • Start with a tiny pinch of chili — you can always add more.
  • Tastes great with a splash of orange juice too.
