Peach Rosemary Lemonade

Stone fruit meets piney rosemary. Sophisticated without trying.

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe peaches, sliced
  • 2 sprigs rosemary
  • 5 lemons
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 6 cups water
  • Ice

Steps

  1. 1

Simmer peaches, rosemary, and sugar with 1 cup water for 10 minutes.

  2. 2

    Mash gently, then strain.

  3. 3

Juice lemons into a pitcher and add the peach syrup.

  4. 4

Add remaining water and chill 30 minutes.

  5. 5

Pour over ice. Top with a thin peach slice.

Leo's tips

  • Overripe peaches actually make the best syrup.
  • One sprig of rosemary is plenty — it's strong.
  • Use a wide ice cube so it dilutes slower.
