Lavender Lemonade

Calm in a glass. Floral, soft, and a beautiful pale purple.

Ingredients

  • 6 lemons
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon culinary lavender buds
  • 6 cups water
  • Ice

Steps

    Boil 1 cup water, remove from heat, and steep lavender + sugar for 10 minutes.

    Strain the lavender syrup into a pitcher.

  3. 3

    Juice the lemons and add.

  4. 4

    Top with cold water, stir, chill.

  5. 5

    Serve over ice with a lemon slice.

Leo's tips

  • Use culinary-grade lavender only — never decorative.
  • Steep too long and it gets soapy. Set a timer.
  • Garnish with one fresh sprig for color.
