Honey Mint Lemonade

Cool, floral, lightly sweet — the porch-swing classic with a Leo twist.

Ingredients

  • 6 fresh lemons
  • 1/3 cup raw honey
  • 6 cups cold water
  • 1 handful fresh mint leaves
  • Ice

Steps

  1. 1

    Warm 1 cup of the water and dissolve the honey in it.

    Juice the lemons into a pitcher.

  3. 3

    Add the honey water and the remaining cold water.

  4. 4

    Smack the mint between your palms and drop it in.

  5. 5

    Chill 20 minutes, pour over ice.

Leo's tips

  • Smacking the mint releases way more flavor than chopping.
  • Use a darker honey for a deeper finish.
  • Sub sparkling water for half the still water for fizz.
