Ginger Citrus Zinger
A spicy, immune-boosting kick. Equal parts wake-up call and treat.
Ingredients
- •4 lemons
- •2 oranges
- •1 thumb fresh ginger, sliced
- •1/3 cup honey
- •6 cups water
- •Ice
Steps

Simmer ginger in 2 cups water for 10 minutes.

Stir honey into the warm ginger water until dissolved.

Juice the lemons and oranges into a pitcher.
- 4
Strain in the ginger water and add the remaining cold water.
- 5
Pour over ice. Garnish with a thin orange slice.

- ★Don't peel the ginger — most of the flavor is right under the skin.
- ★Add a pinch of cayenne for an extra kick.
- ★Great hot too — skip the ice and the cold water.
